KKR batted first and tried a new opening pair with Jaskaran opening the innings with Sai. Sai got out early and KKR lost 5 wickets very quickly.
From 51 for 5 in 8 overs, KKR progressed to 91 for 5 in 10 overs which was a huge momentum shift with Punjab captain Guriqbal leaking 29 runs off 1 over.
Jaskaran and Kaushal's partnership ensured that KKR finished with below par but a fighting total of 115 in 15 Overs.
Punjab started cautiusly with some tight bowling spells from Nitin and Samir. Nitin provided the early breakthrough taking the first 3 wickets.
Some Tight bowling and fielding restricted Punjab to 74/7 in 11 overs with highlight being Ankit's direct hit to get Pranay run out. Needing 42 off 4 overs, Bikram and Siddharth led Punjab's charge with an amazing counter-attack
Siddharth Thakur played shot of the match hitting Samir for a fierce straight 6 off the first ball he faced. From 41 off 4 overs, equation changed to 23 off 3 overs and came down to 9 off 2.
with 2 wickets in hand needing 9 off 2 overs and Bikram and Siddharth going strong , it was Punjab's game to loose. Anuj got Siddharth out in the last ball of 19th over,
which left Punjab needing 4 off the last over with a wickt in hand. Punjab scored 2 runs of first 2 balls and needed 3 to win off last 4 balls.
Bikram hit a full blooded straight drive which was deflected onto stumps by Jaskaran which caught the non striker out of his crease. KKR pulled of an amzing 2 run win
