Pegasus vs International

Pegasus CC, wanting to continue their winning winning ways came into this encounter against a very unpredictable International CC.

On a hot day Pegasus and INternational met at the Wong field. International won the toss and elected to bat. Pegasus made early inroads due to penetrative spells by Hasan & Panda, both bowling accurate ecomical spells and taking 1 wicket each. Jawaid (2 wickets), Theo (2 wickets) and Ali Shafi (3 wickets) wrapped up the middle and lower order with clinical spells. For International, Asif Hussain (36), Yasir Mir (28) and Asif Abbaali (26) contributed most in a modest total of 132 all out in 36 overs.

Post lunch , Pegasus came into bat. The opening pair of the "in-form" Haider Raza (51 not out) and Chetan (50) brought the target to its knees in quick time. Zeeshan came in and got some much needed  batting pratice, scoring a quick (28 notout). For International, defending a modest total was a tall task and only Asif Memon managed to look threatening taking the sole 1 wicket.

Pegasus is going strong, coming into the middle of this long season.
